Pasha Stevedoring & Terminals was presented with the Beacon Business of the Year Award during the San Pedro Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s recent annual installation luncheon. The award recognizes local businesses that contribute to the quality of life in the community, and PST is ever-mindful of giving back to the communities in which it works.

In addition to the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, PST is a major contributor to the International Trade Education Program at Banning High School, Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles Harbor, Port of Los Angeles High School, Propeller Club, YWCA of the Harbor Area and South Bay, Long Beach Boy Scouts of America and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce activities.

The privately-held company is the third-largest independent US West Coast terminal operator.

As a breakbulk cargo specialist, PST combines its decades of hands-on experience in the field of general and heavy-lift cargo with its container capabilities to operate an omni-terminal in the Port of Los Angeles that accommodates general cargo in addition to the standard oceangoing containers.

Together with the Port of Los Angeles, PST recently achieved the #1 record for steel imports on the U.S. West Coast.
